Descent 3 ported for Linux: This cool old game was originally ported for the Linux operating system, but has long since gone out of print and is no longer available. With the resurgence of the Linux OS platform, people are clamoring for games natively ported to run on it, and I can’t think of a better game to play than Descent 3! So I took the Linux-specific files and uploaded them here, so you can take your existing Windows version of D3 and play it natively on a Linux platform. This is not a full version of the game, just the files that differ from the Windows version, and a How-to that explains installing them.
